Maple, Shirazz Japanese
Description: The leaves of this new Maple emerge with pink, and then turn green with cream and pink variegation during summer, color is always vibrant on this tree. The small lobed palm-shaped leaves are aesthetically significant and turn an outstanding scarlet in the fall. Shirazz Japanese Maple is a dense deciduous tree with a pleasing form and gracefully arching branches. Its fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants. It is a low maintenance tree, and should only be pruned in summer after the leaves have fully developed, as it may 'bleed' sap if pruned in late winter or early spring.
